2008 Senior Games Schedule of Events Monday, September 8, 2008 9:00 a.m. Golf $13.00 per person (with cart) $12.00 for members Tuesday, September 9, 2008 2:00 p.m. Bowling Tournament ($6.00 for three games/includes shoe rental if needed) Wednesday, September 17, 2008 10:00 a.m. Horseshoes (or) Karaoke Fun 11:00 a.m. Bingo 12:00 p.m. Lunch/Auction 1:00 p.m. Euchre 2:30 p.m. Dartball Thursday, September 18, 2008 9:30 a.m. Rook 11:00 a.m. Corn-Hole Toss 11:30 a.m. Brown-Bag Bingo 6:00 p.m. Closing Ceremony Dinner and Dance at the Community Building in the Mitchell Park. If you bring a non-participant of senior games to closing ceremony, the fee will be $7.00

Senior Games Fees Entry Fee: $7.00 per person Golf Fee: $13.00 per person (with cart) $12.00 per person if member Bowling: $6.00 (three games) Closing Ceremony: $7.00 for each non-participant of Senior Games Please make all checks payable to Hoosier Uplands. Please contact Hoosier Uplands at 812-849-4457 or 1-800-333-2451 to obtain a registration form or click on the links below to print out the form and return to Hoosier Uplands, Attn: Vera Hall, 521 W. Main Street, Mitchell, IN 47446. People with hearing/speech disabilities please call GTE's TRS at 1-800-743-3333. Entry fee includes individual participation in any of the above events, luncheons, screenings, entertainment, and t-shirt. All fees are non-refundable. SENIOR GAME GOALS
To maintain and improve the health and wellness of adults in the counties of Lawrence, Orange, Washington, and Crawford. To provide a competitive athletic and recreational experience for older adults in the specific four county area. To focus attention on the importance of regular exercise and constructive activity at any age. To provide an opportunity for positive socialization for participants, their families, volunteers and spectators. To enhance public awareness of the physical capabilities of older persons. to participate in a statewide network of local Senior Games.
