CRAWFORD COUNTY DIVISION OF FAMILY & CHILDREN - Medicaid program provides payment for medical, dental, prescription drugs, hospitalization, and medical transportation for eligible family members. Hospital care for indigents that assists with physician and ambulance bills for that visit for eligible persons who have no insurance and are not eligible for Medicaid, services for children with special needs provides medical support for congenital handicaps and other specifically eligible conditions. Medicaid for pregnant women who may not be eligible for other Medicaid assistance. HOOSIER UPLANDS HOSPICE - Hospice provides supportive care for the terminally ill and their families, primarily in the home. Physical care helps control pain and symptoms affecting the quality of life for those facing incurable illness. Medical Social Services help clients cope with social, emotional and financial upheaval. A spiritual counselor is available to address spiritual needs and concerns. Volunteers offer support as "good neighbors" who are willing to sit with someone, run errands or provide a listening ear. HOOSIER UPLANDS HOSPICE - Hospice provides supportive care for the terminally ill and their families, primarily in the home. Physical care helps control pain and symptoms affecting the quality of life for those facing incurable illness. Medical Social Services help clients cope with social, emotional and financial upheaval. A spiritual counselor is available to address spiritual needs and concerns. Volunteers offer support as "good neighbors" who are willing to sit with someone, run errands or provide a listening ear.
